August 12, 2008 We've just about locked the footage now and are excited to see digital FX, sound and music come together. The Sundance submission deadline is approaching, but we're working hard to get the turtle there on time!
July 27, 2008 "Weathered" saw its first trial audience to very warm reception. Matt Webb and Aaron Schuh traveled to Colorado Springs to screen a rough cut of the film at the Windrider Film Forum. Though it was far from finished, the audience and fellow filmmakers agreed that we have a beautiful little film.
June 17, 2008 After four more days of production, Weathered is finally shot! Thank you to all of the filmmakers who made this weekend so wonderful.
June 11, 2008 A number of updates....
1) Artist Marilee Sweeney contributed a painting for use in the film. It will be reproduced in a limited-edition run for those who have donated over $100. Check out the photos section to see the painting.
2) We'll be shooting the remining 2 days this weekend. Keep an eye out for updated images and a trailer coming soon!
May 12, 2008 We can now accept Tax-Free Donations. Our production services company, Kiros Pictures, has fiscal sponsorship from Fractured Atlas, a non-profit 501c(3) arts service organization. What that means is we can now accept contributions for Weathered, made payable to Fractured Atlas. These donations are 100% tax-deductible!
Any level of support is appreciated, so if you're looking for write-offs for next year's taxes, or are just feeling generous click here.
May 9, 2008 The trailer has been posted. Yes, we worked into the wee hours to finish it. But we're excited!!
May 8, 2008 The images section has been updated to include some frames from the movie, as well as a small sample of the film. Expect a trailer by the first of next week.
April 24, 2008 Turtle Graph Update!
April 24, 2008 2/3 of the film has been completed. We're officially suffering from post-filming depression as we have to take a month off to wait for all our actors to become available for the final few scenes.
