Barber. Beautifuly shot. A few great renditions of Beatles songs. Bono and Eddie Izzard a plus. But terribly forced script. Unnecessary characters that diluted the power of the central love story.

Tyler. Never seen another film like it. One of the greatest adaptations. Hypnotic and horrifying. Coppola's direction, the solid acting, amazing cinematography, and terrific sound puts the viewer right in the middle of the story. The film draws the audience in to an uncomfortable proximity with Marlow's thoughts.

Chris Nelson- Classic, great music, this is the reason I bought a box set of every Doors album, not to mention the Flight of the Valkyries. The acting is phenomenal and the film takes you through an emotional rollercoaster

Barber. I didn't have a chance to rewatch this. But from what I remember, very provocative despite being mostly talking heads and source footage. Very poignant.

Tyler. The relationships and action are great. Probably the funniest of the series. Only quibble is that it borders on formulaic: "Temple didn't work so we need to get back to basics -- Nazis and biblical artifacts."

Barber: Theme of forgiveness, Road Movie, Indian, Father & Son. Felt like the score could have been more organic. Was heavy handed at times when trying to make a point about Victor and Thomas being outcasts of society (especially on the Bus).

Tyler. Aimed high, but didn't reach its goal. Slow and awkward for long durations. Still, portraying Jesus as the everyman is a bold move -- even if they are simply following the novel.
